A 29-year-old Highgate man is facing child pornography and drug-related charges after police seized some electronic devices and some marijuana plants during a pair of searches earlier this week.
Police said members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit first searched the residence Wednesday morning while they were executing a warrant regarding a child luring investigation.
At that time, officers also allegedly found a large quantity of marijuana plants in the man's possession. Officers with the Intelligence Unit then executed a second search warrant shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday and seized approximately $200,000 in illicit cannabis.
The accused was charged and later released with a future court date.
