New COVID-19 cases remain low in Midwestern Ontario

Public health officials confirmed just one new case of COVID-19 since yesterday in Huron Perth, one in Grey Bruce and one in Wellington County.

There are twelve active cases in Grey Bruce, 17 active cases in Huron Perth, and 18 active cases in Wellington.

In Grey Bruce, one case was a Brazil variant and one was a South African variant. The cases are resolved. It takes up to three weeks to confirm a specific variant.

Two people are in hospital in Huron Perth with COVID-19. There are no hospitalizations in Grey Bruce due to COVID-19.
