Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare is reporting a COVID-19 outbreak within its Dr. Y. Emara Centre for Healthy Aging and Mobility.

The outbreak was declared on Sunday in the centre's 3N unit. According to a statement from the hospital, two staff and three patients have tested positive for COVID-19.

"All outbreak precautions have been implemented on this unit," read the statement.

Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare is also continuing to deal with an outbreak at its Crisis and Mental Wellness Centre. So far, two staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. However, hospital officials anticipate that the Crisis and Mental Wellness Centre outbreak will be resolved by Tuesday.

"It is important to note that all services at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, including those at the Crisis and Mental Wellness Centre remain a safe place for our staff, physicians, visitors and community at large," the hospital said in the media statement.
