Copper wire, golf cart reported stolen
Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for help to solve a break-in on Richmond Street in Chatham.
Police said they received a report that someone had cut the fence at a compound on that street in two different spots and took off with some copper wire and a golf cart that is worth approximately $4,000.

Fuel stolen from Wallaceburg property
Chatham-Kent police are also investigating after someone broke into a building on Elbow Line in Wallaceburg and stole some fuel.
Police said it's believed that sometime between January 2 and January 4, someone drove a vehicle through the barn door of a building on the property and then stole approximately $400 worth of fuel.
The damage to the door is estimated at $3,500.

Snowmobile, trailer taken during break-in
Police are appealing to the public for tips as they work to track down a 1994 Polaris XLT snowmobile and trailer that were both reported stolen after a break-in on Gillard Street in Wallaceburg.
Officers said sometime between December 28 and January 4, someone entered a fenced compound on that street by cutting a hole in the fence.
The snowmobile and trailer were later reported stolen and police are now asking anyone with information to contact Constable Chad Murphy at 519-436-6600 extension #87266 or [email protected].
