New case, recovery added to local COVID figures

Lambton Public Health is reporting one more confirmed case of COVID-19, as well as one more recovery over the past 24 hours.

The active caseload stands at 17.

Since March 25, the local health agency has reported 402 confirmed infections, of which 360 have now been deemed resolved.

The death toll is unchanged at 25.

The health unit is reporting no outbreaks in the community and Bluewater Health has one positive patient in hospital.

Sarnia-Lambton is the only region in southwestern Ontario that remains at the lowest “green” standard measures level in Ontario’s colour-coded COVID-19 response framework.
