MOH for Grey and Bruce concerned about rising COVID-19 numbers

Some concern in Bruce and Grey has the number of new cases of COVID-19 have grown over the last week.

The area now has 33 active cases being tracked with 10 new cases reported Sunday.

Four of those in Grey Highlands, two in Huron-Kinloss and one each in West Grey, Southgate, Kincardine and Arran-Elderslie.

In his daily summary, Medical Officer of Health Dr. Ian Arra says it is a deeply concerning trend and significant increase in the number of cases locally, and in the number of close contacts of these cases.

And it is important re-focus on the basic measures that can keep the area safe through the first wave, washing hands frequently, watching distance, and wearing a face covering correctly.
