Woman drives off with partner's arm in her car window
A 35-year-old Chatham woman has been arrested and charged after she allegedly rolled up her car window on her partner's arm and then drove off.
Chatham-Kent police said the woman was driving her partner home Monday afternoon when they started arguing in the car.
Police said the vehicle was stopped at an intersection, the victim got out of the car, grabbed her belongings and started walking away, but she turned around when she realized her keys were still in the vehicle.
Investigators said when the woman reached into the vehicle to grab her keys, the driver rolled up the window on her arm and then drove through the intersection.
Police said the vehicle went about 30 feet before the victim's arm came free -- she fell onto the road and suffered what are described as non-life threatening injuries.
The driver was later arrested and charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm. She was then released with a future court date.

Watch for wildlife on the roads
Chatham-Kent police are issuing a reminder to drivers to be on the lookout for deer and other wildlife on the roads right now -- especially after a number of recent collisions in rural areas of the municipality.
Police said between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday, they were called to three different collisions involving deer in the area of Orford Township and Zone Township.
No one was hurt as a result of those crashes, but police are taking the opportunity to remind drivers to be especially vigilant on the roads at this time of year.
