The Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) was notified that multiple cases of COVID-19 were identified in two more London schools on Sunday.
Of the cases, two were from Oakridge Secondary School, and the other at Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School. Both high schools will remain open, and school busses will continue to operate per usual. The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) is working on contact tracing to identify any close contacts of the individuals who tested positive. Only those who are contacted by the health unit will be advised to seek testing and self-isolate for 14 days.
The number of positive cases within public and catholic schools continues to rise. Over the weekend, two, single cases were identified at two, separate London schools, and another was found at a London District Catholic School Board elementary school.
