Man arrested in the bathroom

A 26-year-old Ajax man has been arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with his release conditions after he allegedly showed up at a Ridgetown woman's home when he had been ordered to stay away from her.

Police said the man was released from the court back in June with several conditions including a ban on communication with a specific Ridgetown woman -- he was also ordered not to attend her home.

Officers said they found the man in the bathroom of the woman's home at around 3 a.m. Thursday while they were responding to a disturbance call.

The accused was arrested, charged, and later released with a future court date.
