The Director of the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board says school opening this fall is a success thanks to the hard work, dedication, commitment and resilience of students, staff and families.
Gary O’Donnell says the vast majority of students are attending school daily and absentee rates of students dropped significantly over the past few weeks.
O'Donnell believes that attendance has improved from the first few weeks of school due to changes in the screening tool, and the comfort level of everyone using it.
He says regular weekly meetings continue with Grey-Bruce Public Health to ensure proper communication and consistent consistent application of the protocols.
