The 80 students connected with cases of COVID-19 associated with Osprey Central School in Grey Highlands are now allowed to return to school.
All 80 students and nine adults connected with the cases tested negative for COVID-19 and all completed 14 days of isolation.
On October 18th, the Grey Bruce Health Unit reported cases associated with the school. Three classes and students who rode on the school bus with the cases were identified as high risk and had to self-isolate.
A mobile testing team was sent to Osprey Community Hall parking lot last week to test those at high-risk. All swabs came back negative.
There are no COVID-19 outbreaks in any schools or childcare centres in Grey and Bruce.
Health officials are thanking the families involved for their cooperation and the Bluewater District School Board for its help in identifying contacts and its support to keep the school open.
