COVID outbreak ended at Sarnia-Lambton workplace

An outbreak of COVID-19 at an unnamed workplace in Sarnia-Lambton has been declared over.

Lambton Public Health reported on its website Tuesday night that three people linked to the workplace have recovered from the virus, dropping the number of active cases over the past 24 hours to three.

An outbreak, declared on October 15 at Twin Lakes Terrace Long Term Care Home in Sarnia, is still in place after two staff members tested positive.

Since the start of the pandemic, 341 of the 369 confirmed cases locally have been deemed resolved. The death toll stands unchanged since June 6 at 25.
