CK police arrest five people during drug raid

A drug bust in Chatham has led to five arrests.

Chatham-Kent police searched two homes on Wellington Street East and Gray Street on Tuesday, arrested five people, and seized roughly $36,000 worth of what's believed to be cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and hydromorphone.

Stacy Ritchie, 36, and Brian Vandusen, 42, both of Wellington Street East in Chatham are charged with two counts of drug possession.

Michael Moody, 37, of Gray Street in Chatham, Cheryl Kovats, 37, of Charing Cross Road in Harwich Township, and Michael Teare, 43, of Elm Street in Bothwell are all charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
