Man arrested for breaching release orders
Police arrested a Chatham man with an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with his release conditions.
Officers transported the 48-year-old to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, and he was released with a future court date.
Man located and arrested for uttering threats back in May
A Tilbury man who was wanted for a charge of uttering threats of harm was arrested after four months.
The incident occurred back in May of this year, but police were not able to locate the man, and a warrant was requested for his arrest.
On Saturday, the man was located and taken to police headquarters. He was later released with a court date.
Woman arrested for domestic mischief
During a dispute between a woman from Chatham and a man from Tilbury, a laptop was irreparably damaged.
After the incident, the man contacted police to report what happened, which is when officers located and arrested the 36-year-old woman for one count of domestic-related mischief under $5,000.
The woman was given a future court date and later released with conditions in place.
Police arrest reckless driver who turned out to be impaired
While on duty, a police officer witnessed a driver who was suspected to be intoxicated.
During the incident, the vehicle in question failed to stop for a red light, nearly striking another vehicle, before it ended up on the front lawn of a nearby residence. The driver then attempted to return to the roadway and carry on driving.
The officer conducted a traffic stop and the driver failed a roadside breath test. The 22-year-old was brought to a nearby OPP station for further testing which resulted in the man being charged with 80 plus.
The man was then taken over to CK police headquarters, and given a future court date before being released.
