Thief steals patio furniture

Police are investigating a break and enter at a restaurant on Grand Avenue East in Chatham.

It happened Friday morning when the culprit entered the patio area of the business. The suspect got away with four patio tables, 12 chairs and three umbrellas, valued at $5,000.

Storage unit broken into in Wallaceburg

Police are asking the public for information regarding a break and enter at a business on Arnold Street in Wallaceburg

Sometime within the last two weeks, someone entered a storage unit and took a ring, suitcase and various electronics.

The value of the stolen goods is estimated at around $500.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.

Traffic enforcement 

On Friday, Chatham-Kent police conducted a traffic blitz throughout the municipality.

As a result 30 tickets were issued along with several warnings.

Police are reminding drivers that speeding is dangerous and costly.
