Saugeen Shores launches new Saugeen Shores Strong Business Recognition Campaign

Saugeen Shores has launched a new campaign aimed at highlighting the efforts of the local business community through the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Saugeen Shores Strong Business Recognition Campaign will recognize businesses that are nominated by either consumers or employees that have shown resiliency and adaptability throughout the pandemic, with efforts that have impacted the public. Some examples could include a business's new products or services that are COVID-19 specific, safety procedures and giving back to the local community.

Nominated businesses will be given decals to display in their windows from the town, as well as recognition on the Saugeen Shores website and social media pages.

“We know that Saugeen Shores has a resilient business community and we want to celebrate all that local businesses have done to keep our economy strong and our community safe,” says Mayor Luke Charbonneau.

To nominate a business, visit http://www.saugeenshores.ca/BusinessRecognition and complete the form. Paper copies are available at the Saugeen Shores municipal office in Port Elgin.
