Tragedy avoided in Wallaceburg shooting

Police are investigating after a shooting in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent police said officers responded to a shooting on North River Line just after 4 a.m. on Monday after someone fired what appeared to be two shotgun rounds at a camper trailer on the property.

A 45-year-old man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries in the hospital and was released.
