A collision that claimed the lives of a couple from Blenheim has resulted in charges being laid against a Woodstock man.
John Thomas, 71, and Patricia Thomas, 68, died after their SUV collided with a truck on Highway 2 near Woodstock on the afternoon of August 28. Police said both vehicles were going east at the time of the collision.
Following an investigation, the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police announced Friday that Frederick Faulkner, 27, of Woodstock is charged with two counts of careless driving causing death.
Police said he is to appear in court at a later date.
