COVID-19 cases low in Midwestern Ontario

The Grey Bruce Public Health Unit reports no new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

However, there are still two active cases in the region. A COVID-19 outbreak continues at Seasons Retirement Home is Owen Sound. The public health unit will also start to report any outbreaks at schools and daycares.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 129 cases reported in the region, with five of those referred to other health units. 122 people have recovered and there have been no fatalities.

Huron Perth Public Health report no new and no active cases, after a spike in the number of cases in late August.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health reports one new case in Wellington County.  There are five active cases in the County.  Across the Wellington Dufferin Guelph region, there are five new cases in total, and 15 active cases.
