A man is recovering after an assault in Chatham.
According to police, it happened on Grand Avenue East when the man was waiting for an appointment in an office.
The victim was then allegedly struck in the face by another man. Police said the attack was completely unprovoked.
The injured man was taken to the hospital with significant injuries to his face. Meanwhile, the suspect was arrested for assault and breaching his probation.
Police said that during the arrest, the suspect continued to make threats to harm the victim. He was taken to police headquarters and held for bail.
