Canada-wide warrant issued for Leamington shooting suspect

Ontario Provincial Police have announced the issuing of a nationwide warrant for a suspect in a shooting in Leamington last month.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Talita Isola Campbell, 29, of Windsor for attempted murder and firearm-related offences in connection with the July 19 incident. Police were called to a home on Robinson Street and found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was treated in hospital.

Campbell is described as a Black female, 5′4″ tall, with a medium build. She was seen wearing glasses, black pants, a grey shirt, and her hair tied back in a ponytail. She has been known to use the alias of Samantha Smith or Sam Smith and has connections in the Windsor and Toronto areas.

The suspect is pictured above. Do not approach her yourself as she is considered by the OPP to be armed and dangerous. If you see her or know of her whereabouts, call 911 immediately.
