Man running in and out of traffic gets arrested 

A call about a man running through traffic in Chatham led to an arrest.

Police got the call around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. The man was located and believed to be under the influence of drugs. As a result, he was arrested for breach of the peace

When arresting the man, police say they found him in possession of drugs as well.

He was taken to police headquarters and held for bail.

Investigation leads to probation charges

A man in Wallaceburg is facing several charges after not being able to obey his probation orders.

According to police, the man was being investigated for breaching his probation. When located, the man was found to be breaching his probation yet again.

He was arrested and transported to the police station for bail.

A total of six breach of probation charges were laid.

Traffic stop results in charges

A routine traffic stop lead to drug-related charges in Chatham.

During the stop, the man was arrested for other driving offences. During the arrest, he was found to be in possession of drugs.

He was released with a future court date.

Storage units entered

Two storage units were entered on Grand Avenue in Chatham.

According to police, it happened sometime after 2 a.m. Saturday. The tenants were notified and it is unknown if anything was stolen.

Outstanding warrant arrest 

A man was arrested by another agency on an outstanding Chatham-Kent warrant from February 2019.

He was transported to police headquarters and held for bail.
