Knife waving man arrested again
A 40-year-old man who was allegedly waving a knife around on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg Thursday morning is back in custody.
Chatham-Kent police said the man was released from court last year with several conditions, one of which banned him from possessing any weapons.
Officers said they arrested him again on Thursday after receiving a report of an intoxicated man carrying a knife.
Police said when they caught up with him, the man was drinking alcohol on the railway tracks with the knife beside him.
The accused was charged with failing to comply with his release conditions and was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.

Police pull over a suspended driver
A 31-year-old Chatham man who was already suspended from driving is in more trouble with police after they allegedly spotted him out for an early morning drive.
Chatham-Kent police said an officer on general patrol stopped the man at around 4 a.m. Friday, adding that the man's license had been suspended for unpaid fines and demerit points.
Police said as a result of their investigation, the man was charged with being a G1 driver and unaccompanied by a qualified driver along with two counts of driving while under suspension.
His vehicle was also taken to the impound lot for the next seven days.

Three arrests on warrants
A 27-year-old Chatham man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Windsor Police. He was taken into custody Thursday morning and then handed over to officers from Windsor for court purposes.
A 36-year-old man of no fixed address who was wanted in Chatham-Kent for failing to comply with his release conditions was arrested in London. Police said he was picked up Thursday afternoon and taken back to Chatham-Kent for court purposes.
A 55-year-old man who was wanted for failing to comply with his release conditions was arrested in Chatham early Friday morning.

Arrest made after alleged domestic assault
A disturbance call in Blenheim led to an assault charge Thursday night.
Police said they arrested a 28-year-old man of no fixed address after learning that he had allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend earlier this month.
The accused was charged and later released with a future court date.
