Noise complaint leads to multiple charges
Two Wallaceburg residents who weren't supposed to be associating with each other are facing charges after police learned they met up again as a result of a noise complaint.
Police said a woman attended her neighbour's apartment regarding a noise complaint Monday morning and was later assaulted and threatened there.
The person accused of assaulting her -- a 32-year-old Wallaceburg man -- had previously been released on probation with a specific order not to associate with her.
As a result, the man was arrested, charged with assault and breach of probation, and later released with a future court date.
The woman involved in the case was also arrested and charged with uttering threats and being a party to an offence. She was also later released with a future court date.

Traffic stop leads to arrest, drug charges
A 33-year-old Chatham man is in a facing a handful of charges after a recent traffic stop turned up some brass knuckles, drugs, and cash.
Chatham-Kent police said an officer on general patrol pulled the vehicle over Monday night after seeing a man who was known to be unlicensed driving on Keil Drive in Chatham.
Police said the man was arrested, adding that a search turned up some brass knuckles, marijuana, cocaine, digital scale, and a large amount of cash.
Officers said the total value of the drugs that were seized was approximately $3,600.
The accused was charged with several driving, weapons, and drug-related offences including drug possession for the purposes of trafficking.
He was later released with a future court date, but his vehicle has been impounded for 45 days.

Tilbury man arrested after taking off on a bicycle
An 18-year-old Tilbury man is in trouble with police after he allegedly shoved a store employee while he was trying to steal an item from a business in Tilbury.
Police said when the employee approached the man Monday morning, he pushed her and then took off.
Officers managed to track down the man a short distance away on his bicycle and arrested him. While the man was being arrested, he allegedly pushed and kicked at an officer.
The accused was taken into custody and charged with robbery and resisting arrest. He was later released pending a future court date.

ATV reported stolen in Tupperville
Chatham-Kent police are trying to track down a 2005 green / camo Arctic Cat 300 4x4 ATV that was reported stolen sometime between 11 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday from an address in Tupperville.
Police said someone broke into a shed on Base Line, causing around $200 in damage, and stole the ATV -- valued at approximately $4,000.
The ATV was last seen with Ontario license plate 80HJ7.

Charges laid after family dispute in Tilbury
An 18-year-old Tilbury man has been arrested after allegedly threatening her sister while holding some scissors.
Police said the woman is also accused of throwing some keys at her sister.
Officers were called in to investigate the incident on Monday after a family dispute reportedly took place Sunday night.
Police said the accused was arrested and charged with uttering threats and two counts of assault with a weapon. She was later released pending a future court date.
