Forecasters are tracking a line of thunderstorms across southwestern Ontario.
Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent for Wednesday afternoon, with the potential of severe weather existing through the evening.
The weather agency says a few of these storms may contain wind gusts of up to 80 kilometres per hour. Torrential downpours, frequent lightning, and hail may be associated with some storms.
People in this area should be prepared to find a place of safety should conditions worsen.
The warning was cancelled by 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, though a special weather statement remained in effect.
