Confirmed cases of COVID-19 up again

The local COVID-19 caseload has increased by one over the last 24 hours.

Lambton Public Health said there have now been a total of 290 confirmed cases of the virus in the community.

The health unit said the number of resolved cases remains at 260 and the death toll is unchanged at 25.

To date, Lambton Public Health has received the results from 15,152 tests and 98.1 per cent have been negative for the deadly virus.

In its daily update Monday, Bluewater Health reported that there are no patients currently in hospital with the virus. The hospital said there are 21 patients suspected of having the virus with test results pending.
