South Bruce Grey Health Centre extends hours at COVID-19 assessment centre

The South Bruce Grey Health Centre is extending the hours of operation at a local COVID-19 assessment centre.

Beginning July 6, the COVID-19 assessment centre at the Kincardine Hospital will be extended to 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Testing is available to any of the following people:

-All people with at least one symptom of COVID-19, even if mild -People who are concerned they have been exposed to COVID-19 through exposure to a confirmed or suspected case -People who are at risk of exposure to COVID-19 through their employment, including essential workers (e.g. health care workers, grocery store employees, LCBO, etc.) -Those requiring COVID-19 testing in order to visit a long-term care home, prior to surgery, or require testing for any other reason.

There are three COVID-19 assessment centres in the Grey-Bruce region. Those at the Kincardine Hospital 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, the Owen Sound Regional Hospital from 12 pm until 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and the Hanover and District Hospital from 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
