No change in local COVID figures

The COVID-19 caseload in Sarnia-Lambton is unchanged.

Lambton Public Health said over the last 24 hours, there's been no change to the number of confirmed or recovered cases of the virus.

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 is sitting at 285 while 257 have been resolved. The death toll remains at 25.

An outbreak continues at Afton Park Place in Sarnia after one staff member tested positive.

Since the pandemic started, the health unit has received results from 12, 474 tests, nearly 98 per cent have been negative.

In its daily update Wednesday, Bluewater Health reported that there are currently no patients in hospital with the virus, however there are 11 patients suspected of having it with tests pending.
