More drive-thru swab testing is being planned for Tilbury, Blenheim, and Thamesville during the first two weeks of July.
Chatham Kent Health Alliance CEO Lori Marshall said details should be out next week.
Marshall said more testing is important especially for those who need to show a negative test before visiting loved ones at long term care homes.
Drive-thru testing was recently done in Wallaceburg and Maraviantown and Marshall is calling it "a very efficient model and way of doing things."
She said the numbers in Wallaceburg exceeded all expectations because the staff was only expecting about 60-65 people but got 436 over the course of three days in mid-June.
Marshall said the assessment centre in Chatham is now seeing about 100 people a day, up from 60 about a month ago.
The swab testing is done in partnership with CK Public Health Unit and Chatham-Kent EMS.
