A severe thunderstorm warning and watch has ended for both areas. Meteorologists began tracking the storms near Belle River which brought strong winds, and periods of heavy rain. A separate tornado warning was briefly issued for Windsor, Leamington and Essex county.
The weather agency ended the alerts shortly after 9 p.m.
