Early morning car chase leads to dangerous driving charges
Police in Chatham observed a vehicle that was previously involved in numerous complaints driving near Riverview Drive around 9 a.m. Thursday.
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle it fled and a pursuit was initiated. The driver continued driving westbound on Riverview before it entered a ditch. No injuries occurred during the pursuit and a 29-year-old male was arrested for Dangerous Operation, and Flight from Police. The driver was issued Part Three ticket for having a speed measuring device, and Fail to Surrender License.
The male was released from custody with a future court date.
Domestic dispute at local motel
Police responded to a domestic-related incident at the Chatham Motel on Friday afternoon. Upon arrival, a 49-year-old male was charged with two counts of assault and was held for a future bail hearing.
Traffic incident on McNaughton Avenue
Police were called to an incident involving an older model, blue, GMC pickup truck on McNaughton Avenue East shortly after 4 p.m. on Friday.

Female caught driving with disqualified license
Police in Wallaceburg observed a known female operating a vehicle contrary to her prohibition order just before 10 p.m. Friday.Officers stopped the vehicle and the 32-year-old woman was arrested and later released on Form Nine for two counts of Drive Disqualified.
Traffic stop leads to warrant arrest
Police initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle on Margaret Avenue in Wallaceburg around 4.a.m on Saturday.
As a result, officers arrested a 37-year-old male who was wanted for threats of mischief and assault. The man was held for a bail hearing.
