Hanover Public Library is now offering curbside pickup of books, movies, and audiobooks.
Pick-up sessions will take place on weekday afternoons to start. The number of sessions may be increased if needed.
Library members can request items now, by placing holds through their on-line account, or by contacting the library by phone or e-mail. Library members who do not currently have an online account, and who have internet access, can contact the library to get a username and password. If requested, library staff can select items for you.
When items are ready for pick-up, the library staff will contact you and an appointment can be set up for contactless pick-up. Staff can make the appointment for you; or you can make the appointment yourself using the on-line appointment system, which you may link to your calendar.
All library materials will have been sanitized and quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours. Staff will observe all necessary safety precautions in handling materials and at the appointed pick-up time, physical distancing measures must be taken. Pick-up will take place outdoors on the east (clock tower) side of the building. Details as to the pick-up process will be provided when users are contacted.
Returns must be made to the library drop box on the west side of the Civic Centre building. No returns will be accepted at the pick-up location.
