Zero new COVID-19 cases, deaths reported in London-Middlesex

The Middlesex London Health Unit is reporting no new daily cases or deaths related to COVID-19.

The total number of confirmed cases in the area since the outbreak began remains at 555.

The death toll in the London area stands at 56, while the number of resolved cases has increased to 413 over the last 24 hours.

The health unit also rescinded the outbreak at Sisters of St. Joseph. This marks the fifth outbreak at a local retirement or long term care home to be rescinded. Two outbreaks remain in effect.

Meanwhile, the province reported 415 new cases on Sunday. The total number of cases in Ontario now stands at 30,617.

So far, 24,252 have recovered from the virus in the province, representing 79.2 per cent of the total number of cases.
