Another birthday parade is being planned in Sarnia for a senior set to enter her second century.
Marshall Gowland Manor (MGM) resident Norine O'Hagan turns 100 this Saturday.
Luann Jeffrey said she's unable to throw her mother a party due to COVID-19, so she hopes a lot of people join her family for a vehicle drive-by.
"There's not much you can do with this virus, so I'm doing the best I can," said Jeffrey. "I can't go near her or kiss her or anything, so I'll be hopefully across from her trying to get some pictures."
She said the staff at MGM have been really helpful.
"They're going to have about three or four staff. They'll bring her out, set up her balloons, and set up a table for her, put her cake and flowers on it, and be with her so she won't be alone."
Jeffrey said O'Hagan is a lifelong Sarnia resident who raised three children, has 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Participants are asked to start lining up vehicles behind the Devine Street home, on Stockwell Street, at around 2:30 p.m.
"I've got my son going a bit early and putting balloons on his truck. It's a good area because it's not busy."
On May 22, the community rallied and treated Lillian Price to a 50-plus vehicle parade for her 100th birthday.
