Uride launches delivery service

A local rideshare program is enhancing its services to help people out during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Uride has launched a delivery service platform. Chatham residents can now get same-day delivery from grocery stores, corner stores and the LCBO.

According to Cody Ruberto, Uride founder and CEO, more shops and local businesses will be added at a future time.

“With many people practicing self-isolation, we’ve had an overwhelming amount of requests for delivery options. Our team has been busy working on a new platform, Uride services, which will allow users to order delivery from grocery stores, corner stores and the LCBO, initially. We’re excited to launch this service today, and be part of the solution.” said Ruberto. “The city of Chatham has been great to us and we’ll do everything we can to help people, and local businesses during this time.”

Uride users can order deliveries through the Uride website or by downloading the Uride Services app.
