COVID-19 cases edge upward in Midwestern Ontario

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Midwestern Ontario is edging upward.

Another case of COVID 19 has been confirmed by Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health.

The case is not located in Wellington County. In fact, one person was moved out of ICU in Wellington County. There is one person in the hospital and one in the ICU in Wellington.

Of the 44 cases in Wellington County, 19 people have recovered and two have died.

Huron Perth Public Health has reported one new case of COVID-19 since Tuesday for a total of 45.

Thirty-three of those patients have recovered, and four have died.

There have been over 1,100 negative tests, with about 300 results still pending.

Grey Bruce Public health reports no new cases of the virus on Wednesday, with the total case count sitting at 80.
