Eight new COVID-19 cases, one new death

The London-area has seen another death related to COVID-19, this time at a retirement home.

As of Sunday afternoon, the total number of fatalities sits at 31, 12 in long-term care homes and four in retirement homes.

There were also eight new cases reported on Sunday by the Middlesex-London Health Unit, bringing the total up to 372.

Of the total number of cases, 344 are in London, 15 are in Strathroy-Caradoc, six are in Middlesex Centre, four are in Thames Centre and three are in North Middlesex.

Additionally, the number of people that recovered from the virus jumped from 178 on Saturday to 190 on Sunday.
