The number of COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent is now at 42.
This comes after the CK Public Health Unit released the latest numbers on Saturday afternoon.
Of the total cases, 23 have recovered and one death has been reported.
So far, 1,529 residents have been tested for the virus with 361 test results still pending.

In the meantime, a letter from the Walpole Island First Nation Council states two residents have recently received positive test results for COVID-19. Council members were notified about the results on Friday night and Saturday morning.
"Walpole Island Health Centre staff followed up with the individuals after they were notified and can confirm that they are doing well and have been provided with education on how to properly self-isolate," read the letter posted to Facebook. "Contact tracing has occurred and all those who may have been in contact with the individuals have already been notified of the need to self-isolate."
Across Ontario, there are currently 13,995 cases of COVID-19 and 811 fatalities related to the virus.
