Break and enters in CK
Police are investigating after two break and enters in Chatham-Kent.
Sometime over the past week, unknown suspects forced their way into several storage units at 117 Erie Street South in Ridgetown.
The suspects got away with several electrician tools.
Then on Friday afternoon, unknown suspects entered an open garage on St. Michael Street in Chatham.
A Norco Malahide bicycle was stolen, valued at approximately $700.
Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact police or contact Crime Stopper anonymously.
Man charged with domestic
A man is in trouble with the law after allegedly committing a domestic-related offence.
It started around 8 p.m. Friday when police received a call from a woman who said her ex-boyfriend had just left her house upset.
Through investigation, police learned that he had threatened her.
The 37-year-old Walpole Island man was located shortly after and arrested. He has been released from custody pending a future court date.
Man arrested on warrant
Officers were able to nab a man who was wanted for several offences.
On Friday morning, police located the 26-year-old who was wanted for unlawfully being in a dwelling, forcible confinement, assault and theft.
The Wallaceburg man was arrested and held for bail.
He has since been remanded into custody and has been transported to the South West Detention Centre.
