Huron Perth Public Health reports there are now 39 cases of COVID-19 confirmed through a lab test with 22 of those in Stratford.
Four people have now succumbed to the virus. Three of the deaths were in Stratford, and one in St. Marys. 23 people have recovered.
All five cases in Perth County have been resolved, and the seven confirmed positive patients in Huron County have also recovered.
There is an outbreak at Greenwood Court in Stratford with 13 staff and residents positive for the virus. One resident in their 80's who became sick with COVID-19 symptoms on April 3 passed away April 11th. There was one case at Sebringville's Hillside Manor.
All of the other lower-tier municipalities have between one and three lab-confirmed cases in total so far.
