A 49-year-old driver from Dresden is accused of blowing past a stop sign and causing a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 40 and Countryview Line.
Chatham-Kent OPP said the collision was reported around 8:26 a.m. on Monday.
Police said the 49-year-old was behind the wheel of a westbound car on Countryview Line when the driver allegedly failed to stop at the intersection. The crash resulted in "major damages" for both vehicles involved.
Police said neither driver suffered injuries in the crash.
The 49-year-old is charged with disobeying a stop sign.
