New Lambton library website offers digital resources during pandemic

Lambton County Library has launched a new website that offers numerous digital resources.

Community Library Supervisor Greer Macdonell says it should help people get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We have eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies and music that can be streamed all free, additionally, we have courses that people can take," said Macdonell. "We have two different platforms that offer gale courses and www.lynda.com."

She said local newspapers can also be accessed through a platform called Press Reader.

"We also have magazines and we have different platforms for that as well. One called RB Digital and you can get some on Press Reader as well. So really, anything that they would access the library for, for a hard copy of something, they can get through our online services as well."

The resources can be accessed through lclibrary.ca using your library card.

Anyone one needing technical assistance is asked to call 519-845-3324 ex. 5266 or email librarytechhelp@county-lambton.on.ca
