Three new COVID-19 related deaths in Windsor-Essex

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is reporting three new deaths related to COVID-19 and 13 new cases of the virus.

The latest numbers on Saturday afternoon bring the total number of cases to 452 in the Windsor-area and the total number of virus-related fatalities to 24.

The number of long-term care and retirement home outbreaks in the region remains at seven. Meanwhile, the number of resolved cases remains at 58.

According to the health unit, there are currently 697 test results pending and a total of 3,361 tests have been administered.

Ontario’s case count currently sits at 10,010 with 514 deaths.
