A 21-year-old Wallaceburg man has been arrested, charged, and released after a stabbing over the weekend.
Police said their investigation started after a "male party" attended the hospital in Wallaceburg on Sunday with a stab wound to his abdomen. The injury was described as "non-life threatening."
Officers later learned that the man had been stabbed at a house party and after further investigation, police arrested a 21-year-old Wallaceburg man in connection with the case. The 21-year-old is now charged with aggravated assault and weapons dangerous.
He was taken to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.
