The number of COVID-19 cases in the Windsor area has now reached over 300.
On Sunday afternoon, the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit reported 12 new cases, bringing the local total up to 311.
No new deaths are being reported, with the total still at eight.
Meanwhile, the number of resolved cases also didn't change from Saturday to Sunday, still sitting at 23. A total of 2,293 tests have been administered locally with 300 results pending.
Currently, in Windsor-Essex, the age group with the most number of cases is 50 to 59-year-olds.

As of Sunday morning, the number of confirmed cases across Ontario was at 7,049, with 274 deaths related to the virus.
