Hospice appealing to businesses for protective equipment

St. Joseph's Hospice is appealing to fellow Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce members for donations of medical equipment to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to N95 masks, the hospice is in need of surgical gloves, surgical masks, safety glasses, and face shields, as well as disposable medical isolation gowns.

Items must be new and in the original packaging and can be dropped off in the recycled bin in the main entrance foyer of the residence at 140 Water St.

Businesses are asked to include a business card or contact information. Unfortunately, handmade items cannot be accepted.

They prefer items be dropped off during business hours between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
