Crash in Wallaceburg involving pedestrian turns fatal

A crash in Wallaceburg Friday night has taken a tragic turn.

Chatham-Kent police are reporting that a 30-year-old Wallaceburg man who was airlifted to a London hospital after a crash on Dufferin Avenue near Agnes Street succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after the collision.

Police said the 75-year-old Port Lambton man who was driving the vehicle involved in the incident was not physically injured.
