VIDEO: MOHs continue COVID-19 conversation

Local Medical Officers of Health continue the conversation about COVID-19 in the area.

In the latest release from Dr. Ian Arra of the Grey Bruce Health Unit, the cases of COVID-19 remain at three as there were no reported cases as of March 21, 2020.

Over the last 24 hours, the health unit's Infectious Disease (ID) Team has responded to a number of related calls while the on-call team responds to public health activities not related to COVID-19.

While assessment and messaging continues, there has been a dedicated hotline for essential services such as police and fire. The hotline has also been set up for EMS. The number has been given directly to those organizations.

In Huron and Perth, Medical Officer of Health Dr. Miram Klassen is using social media to continue interaction with the public.

As of Saturday evening, 23,384 people across the province have been tested for COVID-19 according to the province's website that is tracking cases.

15,768 tests came back negative while 7,329 are still under investigation.

368 have been confirmed positive since testing began and three people have died.
