The Beer Store follows suit and cuts hours

The Beer Store is the latest to cut its hours because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of Thursday, it is reducing its hours to 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday hours will remain unchanged.

The decision will not impact those stores that only operate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Beer Store is also suspending its bottle return program until at least the end of the month. When the program resumes, it will honour all deposits.

Customers are asked not to put their bottles in their blue box but keep them until the bottle return program resumes.

The Beer Store may also limit the number of customers within the store to promote social distancing and protect staff and patrons.
