OPP implement COVID-19 safety measures

The Ontario Provincial Police has announced steps to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.

OPP facilities, including Lambton County detachments, remain open during regular operating hours with enhanced screening.

Provincial police are limiting the processing of routine criminal record checks and vulnerable sector checks. They will only be done if deemed necessary or in emergency situations.

OPP have also set up detachment specific e-mail addresses to deal with non-emergent services and inquiries.

Locally you can contact police by e-mail at  [email protected], or call your local detachment:

  • Point Edward (519) 336-8691
  • Petrolia (519) 882-1011
  • Corunna (519) 862-4680
  • Grand Bend (519) 238-2345
For less serious incidents, report online by visiting opp.ca/reporting.  For emergencies call 911.
